There are a lot of truly amazing hiking trails all over the US. Take advantage of wonderful fall hiking with - at least sometimes - less crowded trails, less expensive lodging etc. Simply really good conditions for a hike.
Of course, Yosemite is an amazing place for hiking in the summer, but it won’t disappoint in the fall either! One option is Sentinel Dome and another is Taft Point, both offer fantastic views.
Colorado is a snowy state. In the fall, however, Maroon Bells is absolutely filled with incredible colors. If possible, you definitely want to visit outside of a weekend because of the many people going to see the autumn foliage.
After State Park offers many hiking trails and is absolutely stunning in the fall, one of the most popular being Prairie and Deer Valley Loop.
Going for a fall hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains, in the Southern Appalachia, is simply views. There are many different trails to choose from and we encourage to look them over and choose one of suitable length and level.
Georgia has a lot to offer hikers all year round. In the fall you have several hiking trails around Blairsville, for example in Vogel State Park.
