Getting my inflatable SUP board and towing tubes ready is far simpler, thanks to this electric pump. What used to be a bit of a hassle and time consuming is now incredibly quick and easy. One of my favorite features is the automatic shutoff, it stops right when it hits the perfect pressure, so I never have to worry about over inflating. And the digital display is super helpful where I can always see exactly where I'm at with the pressure. Packing up is just as simple, too, thanks to how fast it deflates. Plus, it comes with adapters for pretty much any inflatable, so I can even use it for air mattresses on my camping trips. While it's not the most compact pump out there, it's still easy to store, and the included carrying bag is a nice bonus. Just keep in mind, it's not a rechargeable unit.
This is a remarkably light SUP (Stand Up Paddle board) pump which isn't just for paddle boards. This versatile pump is for all types of inflatable - paddle board, boat, mattress, kite, pool, ball, bed, tent, in fact pretty much anything that requires inflation EXCEPT vehicle tyres.
The pump itself is very light and looks a lot like a pair of binoculars, or a robot face, cute. It has an integral carry handle and comes with eight nozzles for every eventuality. There's also a power cord for use with a 12V DC supply (what used to be called a car cigarette lighter) and everything is stored in a neat bag that has a carry handle and a shoulder strap. NOTE - this pump isn't rechargeable - it needs the DC supply to operate so isn't suitable for use on a remote site where vehicle access isn't permitted or available.
Because the pump isn't rechargeable it doesn't have extras such as a power bank, SOS light or emergency lantern, it's purely a pump. But it's all swings and roundabouts - an all singing, all dancing, rechargeable pump/light/power bank weighs a lot more than a DC operated pump, and that's where careful selection is needed. It's nice to have all the extras, but will they be used and do they justify the additional weight? Personally I like tools and devices that do what I need them to and no more - I find that means there are fewer compromises on functionality.
As expected there is an inflation and a deflation port - super useful at the end of a hard day of fun in the outdoors. Pressure can be displayed in BAR or PSI, whichever the user choses and required pressure is set with simple +/- buttons. The pump has an auto-off when correct pressure is attained and there's an in-built cooling system to prevent over heating. All good.
While this is light there's no compromise on build quality - it looks and feels substantial, has a low centre of gravity (no toppling) and nice, solid anti-slip feet.
At 拢99.99 (as at 7 July 2025) cheap this is not, but for anyone that spends a lot of time outdoors with inflatables this is probably a very good buy and definitely worth consideration.
This is a powerful pump which makes light weight of inflating my camp beds. However, it doesn't have a battery so make sure you have a way of powering it.
There are some pro's and con's to not having a battery. Providing you have a power source, it is a more reliable way of pumping something up as you know that the battery isn't going to die on you. I have my car and also a leisure battery which has a 12v socket so should be fine but you never know. There might be one time in the future where I need to pump something up, like a paddleboard and don't have my car nearby. It's an important consideration.
It also doesn't have the benefit of other features like a portable power bank, should you need to charge your phone up, or a flashlight.
I was surprised how big a package it is given it doesn't have a battery. I'm not sure it needs to be that big.
The display is nice and big with easy to read numbers making it simple to control pressure, which is important as overinflating could cause disaster.
It comes with 8 nozzle attachments so should be able to pump up just about anything.
Overall I think it is a bit big and expensive considering it doesn't have a battery. I think I would prefer one with a battery but also allow passthrough power via a 12v socket should the battery fail.
This item is great! It can be used for pumping up all kinds of things, saves us so much time when inflating our padel boards. The pump itself is pretty lightweight meaning it is easy to transport and carry around, especially as it comes with a nice case/bag included.
The only downside as stated as that it needs to be plugged in to be used. Slightly on the pricey side but you are paying for a high end item!
This pump inflates my boards quickly; the auto shut-off works as advertised, and I like that it comes with multiple nozzles to fit my two different brand boards. Light and small enough to leave in my car trunk. The deflation is a great time summer when you want to wrap it up for the day and get going. Highly recommended.
