Great set of helmet chips for the price

I've been using hemet earchips for as long as I have skies. These are pretty decent but with some downfalls i've noticed in mt experience.

The audio quality is great and they get loud enough to be heard well through the helmet and any inclement weather or crowds you might experience. It also triggers Siri very easily which i've found to be difficult on older sets.

The button controls for the most part are very intuitive and should be easy to memorize after a couple uses. The one that bothers me is the "hold to change volume" since if you dont hold it long enough, it pauses the music and if you hold it just a bit too long then it moved the volume two clicks instead of one. Holding anything down while skiing can be difficult.

They're super lightweight to the point that you don't even realize you're carrying anything on your head. The case is very lightweight too, although that one in particular doesn't seem like a positive since it doesn't feel sturdy and tossing it in a backpack or jacket pocket feels like it could break.

Couple downsides:
It doesn't seem as well integrated into the iphone as some others have. For example it doesn't play notification sounds (that i've noticed) and if you pause the music and leave it paused for a while...then hitting the button doesn't do anything and you have to pull out your phone and hit play again. It's as if it can't stay connected to the app too loong. I've never had a problem with this on other headsets.

Another downside i noticed, and maybe the biggest one for me, is i don't see a way to turn them off when not in use and nothing is mentioned in the directions. I had the helmet in my kitchen after skiing and went to use my phone and realized my audio started coming out of my helmet so i had to turn off bluetooth on my phone. It looks like they eventually turned off once there was no connection. I have yet to use them enough to see what effect that has on the battery if you just leave them on and inside the helmet. Since i ski multiple times a week all winter, I'm certainly not going to take them in/out of my helmet after every time i ski unless they need charging so hopefully with bluetooth 5.0 they are smart enough to realize when they are no in use.

Good quality ski helmet headphones with some minor problems

I Like these drop-in headphones whenisnowboard, These eadphomes are smallenouoh to ft inthe side nacket bwthe earand provides music whilelsnowheard The devire i
very well-built with a hard case to charge both Left and Right headphones at the same time, Both headphones are sync together and worked wel.
Ihave a fewisues with this product. There's no option to manualy turn off the Lef r Right headphones, when itis on,itwil stay on. My second issue is l ned to remove the
headphones from the helmet for charging. My old model has a 3.5mm por so l iust plug this cable in the helmet, but this external charing caseisinconvenient, l do like the
quality and sound of this headphones.

Plenty of Volume with a Very Narrow Sweet Spot

The OutdoorMaster OM-MZ04m Ski Headphones provide plenty of volume that makes them useful in noisy outdoor environments, but there is a very narrow "sweet spot" in which they produce their best sound quality.

The Good
- Slim-ish design. My Anon Raider has very generous headphone pockets, but not all helmets do. If yours falls into the latter category, you may appreciate that these are only ~14mm thick.
- Loud max volume. You may appreciate this if you've ever struggled to hear your music in noisy environments with other open ear headphones. Anything above ~85% hurts my ears, so they can get louder than I'll use (your tolerance and expectations may vary).
- Good sound quality. Better sound than bone conduction alternatives with clear highs and mids, some bass, and a *hint* of sub-bass.

The Bad
- The usable volume is limited. Anything below ~40% volume is too quiet, with somewhere around 45% being acceptable in a quiet indoor environment. ~50% and above is usable outdoors, depending on external noise, but the "good sound quality" I described above only shows in the ~65-75% range. Anything lower loses the low end, and anything higher loses the low end and introduces occasional distortion. With anything above ~75%, expect sound akin to bone conduction, just louder.
- No off button. I have other ski headphones that can be powered off by their buttons while remaining inside the helmet. These can only be turned off by returning them to their charging case; long-pressing the button on either side merely controls the volume.

Like with any other open ear headphones, the OM-MZ04m forego creating a seal on your ears to achieve their primary function of granting you environmental awareness, and music becomes a secondary goal. Their sound is better than some, but with that narrow "sweet spot," they are just typical for this segment/price range rather than exceptional. Stick to your earbuds if you don't need to be aware of your surroundings; otherwise, prepare to compromise.

Good sounding, easy-to-operate helmet speakers for music and phone calls.

I got these OutdorMaster ski headphones to use in the earflaps of my OutdoorMasterski helmet. They fit perfecty, sound good and are easyto operte. Each speaker has a big
buton on the outside that can easily be pressed even when wearing ski gloves. The controls are pretty intuitive and standard for earphones, Whilistening to musi..
Taping either ear does play/pause. Long presing the right ear increase volume, while long-presing the left ear decreases the volume. Double tapping the right-ear skips
forward, while double tapping the left ear skips backward. ifthere's an incming cal, tapping either ear answers, while double-tapping or long-presing rejiects the ca. Triple
clicking either ear invokes the Google Assistant for Android phones. (l assume it also invokes Siri for iPhones.)
The audio fidelty is good. ts beter than lexpected and about as good as lhoped. 0fcourse,with the speakers being awayfrom your ears, the audio fidelityis not as good as
high-end headphones or earphones, but it's good and quite enioyable. The nice thing about headphones ike this is that ifyou have the volume at some reasonable level you
can still hear what's going on around you-which is good for safety and socializing.
The built-in microphone is good. Audio for calls is good in both directions
Pairing the standard affair, and they automatically reconnect after being turned off
The user manual claims 10 hours of listening time. l haven't tested that yet, but l don't doubt it.
The speakers come in a nice case that magneticaly holdsthe earphones. The case can charge the headphones (through touch-contacts) from its 0.Wh batery. The case tself
charges via UsB-C.
I can find no way to turn off the speakers. l assume that they shut off automatically if not used but l haven't tested that
The user manual is well-written and easy to understand.
These are good headphones with good audio fidelity at a good price, so 5-stars.
